AI Product Photography for Apparel

AI product photography uses generative models to produce listing imagery from a product you already own. For apparel specifically, the hard part is not making an attractive picture — it is keeping the garment identical across every angle in the set.

02. The problem

Generic product-photography tools were built for rigid objects: a bottle, a box, a shoe. Cloth is not rigid, and that is where they fall apart.

A jacket that changes its lapel width between the front and back shot is not a catalogue, it is a returns problem.

Colour is the other failure. A render that drifts two shades warmer between frames misrepresents the product on the page.

03. What we do about it

Aeon is apparel-only, which means the whole pipeline is tuned for cloth: how it hangs, how it creases at a seam, how a nap or a satin picks up light.

Consistency is enforced across a set, not left to chance per image, so the front, back, detail and flat lay all describe the same object.

Output is full resolution and retail-ready, so it goes straight onto a product page.

04. Questions

Does AI product photography work for clothing as well as hard goods?

Only if the tool is built for cloth. Drape, crease and colour behaviour are the difficult parts, and general-purpose product tools tuned for rigid objects tend to lose them. Aeon does apparel exclusively for that reason.

Will the colour match my actual product?

Colour holding across a set is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have — a shade drift between frames misrepresents the product and drives returns.

What shots do I get per garment?

On-model, e-commerce angles, flat lay, ghost mannequin, detail and crop, lookbook and campaign frames — from the same upload.
