Is AI fashion photography good enough for e-commerce?
Yes, for the shots e-commerce actually runs: on-model front, back and detail, flat lay, and ghost mannequin. The bar for a product listing is accuracy and consistency, not novelty, and that is exactly what a controlled render is good at.
Do I need to photograph the garment first?
No. A sketch, a technical flat, a cloth swatch or a phone photo is enough to start. Better input gives a better first pass, but nothing here requires a photographer.
